Marketing Manager
We are a consumer-packaged goods company located in the heart of downtown Montreal that manufactures, develops, designs and markets consumer products under license for a major American national brand. We are looking for a passionate, dynamic and innovative marketer to fill the role of Marketing Manger. Our marketing department is charged with driving consumer value and energizing our brands. The candidate should be someone who has a finger on the pulse of everything marketing and translates focus on the consumer into business results.
The Marketing Manager will help execute highly effective marketing programs, including brand strategy, brand marketing planning, category rationale with a focus on digital marketing and content creation and management.
Reporting in to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing strategies that will increase our visibility and profile in our industry. The position will manage the customer experience department and oversee the onboarding of our 3rd party call center, ensure best practices are in place, and KPIs are being met monthly. The position will have one direct report and manage various agencies and consultant services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement marketing plans for our brands
Implement tools and process for project management
Manages the execution of sales and marketing initiatives in conjunction with national account programs
Demonstrates fiscal responsibility by maximizing yearly budgets and managing expenses to budget
Helps to develop and execute market events when needed/requested
Co-create and lead the go to market strategy for new product launches
Lead brand building projects end-to-end from conception to launch
Build compelling presentations to complement sales presentations
Leverage agency partnerships to come up with new and creative ways to position products
Manage content library - participate in developing branded content
Strategize and create social media strategy, manage social media calendar and accounts
Onboard 3rd party call center to manage customer care for all products. Manage, develop and lead the relationship. Develop reporting structure to ensure excellent results.
